Unscrew and remove the dip-
stick «1».
•
Clean the part that has contact
with oil with a clean cloth.
•
Completely screw the dipstick
«1» into the hole «2».
•
Take the dipstick «1» out again,
and check the level of oil indi-
cated on the dipstick:
•
The level is correct if it reaches
approximately the notch indicat-
ed on the dipstick for the maxi-
mum level.
•
Top up if necessary.
The MAX level indicator indicates a quan-
tity of about 52 in³ (850 cm³) of oil in the
engine. If the check is performed after
vehicle use -- with the engine hot -- the
level shown will be lower; to check prop-
erly, it is necessary to wait at least 10
minutes after the engine has stopped, in
order to read the correct level.

Nettoyer la partie en contact
avec l'huile à l'aide d'un chiffon
propre.

Visser complètement le bou-
chon jauge « 1 » dans le trou
d'introduction « 2 ».
•
Extraire de nouveau le bouchon
jauge « 1 » et lire le niveau at-
teint par l'huile sur la jauge.
•
Le niveau est correct s'il atteint
approximativement l'encoche
marquée sur la jauge de mesure
correspondant au niveau maxi-
mum.
•
Si nécessaire, remplir.
Le repère du niveau MAX indique une
quantité d'environ 52 in³ (850 cm³) d'huile
dans le moteur. Si la vérification est ef-
fectuée après avoir employé le véhicule,
donc avec le moteur chaud, la ligne de
niveau sera plus basse ; pour effectuer
une vérification correcte, il est nécessaire
d'attendre au moins 10 minutes après
l'arrêt du moteur, de façon à avoir un ni-
veau correct.
