the wheel turns freely.

04_42)
When storing the vehicle away for long
periods, some precautions are necessary
to avoid damage due to prolonged inac-
tivity.
Minor repairs should not be postponed,
lest you forget them. A general checkup
for the vehicle is also recommended.
Proceed as follows:
•
Completely empty the fuel tank
and carburetor.
•
Remove the spark plug, and
pour a spoonful 0.3 - 0.6 in³ (5 -
10 cm³) of two-stroke motor oil
into the cylinder.
•
Set the ignition switch to «ON»
and press the starter button for
a few seconds to distribute the
oil on the cylinder surfaces uni-
formly.
•
Remove the protection cloth.
•
Refit the spark plug.
•
Remove the battery.

Il faut adopter certaines précautions pour
éviter les effets découlants de l'inactivité
du véhicule.
En outre, il est nécessaire de réaliser les
réparations et un contrôle général avant
le remisage, afin d'éviter d'oublier de les

Procéder de la manière suivante :

Vidanger complètement le ré-
servoir et le carburateur.
•
Déposer la bougie et verser
dans le cylindre une petite cuil-
lerée de 0.3 - 0.6 in³ (5 - 10 cm³)
d'huile pour moteurs à deux
temps.
•
Positionner l'interrupteur d'allu-
mage sur « ON » et appuyer
pendant quelques secondes sur
le bouton de démarrage du mo-
teur pour distribuer l'huile unifor-
mément sur les surfaces du
cylindre.
