Troubleshooting chart
Engine does not start.
Possible cause Remedy
Side stand extended and gear engaged Engage neutral or fold in side stand.
Gear engaged and clutch not disengaged Place transmission in neutral or disengage clutch.
No fuel in tank Refueling procedure ( 80).
Battery drained Charging connected battery ( 115).
Overheating protection for starter motor has ac-
tivated. Starter motor can only be actuated for a
limited period.
Leave the starter motor to cool down for around 1
minute until it becomes available again.
