3. Initial commissioning
3.1 Inserting or replacing batteries
i Input data (workshop address) will be retained
while you change the internal batteries.
1. Remove the screw on the battery compartment
cover on the back of the BAT 115 using a small
Phillips screwdriver.
2. Detach the battery compartment cover.
i When replacing batteries, remove the discharged
batteries and dispose of them properly.
3. Insert new batteries (6x) in the correct position.
! Make sure that the positive and negative terminals
are positioned correctly.
4. Reattach the battery compartment cover and
tighten the screw.
i When the batteries are low, the display shows
CHANGE BATTERIES. Always replace all 6 batteries
at the same time.
3.2 Inserting or replacing printer paper
i Only use thermal paper in a roll with the
dimensions 57mm x 25.9mm.
1. Connect the
BAT 115
to the battery (see sec.5.2).
2. Open the printer cover.
3. Insert the paper roll so that the paper comes out
under the printer paper roll (see illustration).
4. Insert the end of the paper into the feed opening of
the printer.
The paper is automatically loaded.
5. Pull the paper at the top of the tester upwards by
approx. 2cm.
6. Feed the strip of printer paper through the serrated
slot of the printer cover.
7. Close the printer cover.
