Advanced Shooting Functions
You can lock the flash exposure so that the exposure settings are
correctly set regardless of the composition of your subject.
Changing shutter speed and aperture
value combinations
Automatically selected combinations of shutter speeds and
aperture values can be freely changed without altering the
exposure (Program Shift).

Focus on the subject on which you wish
to lock the exposure.

Press the shutter button halfway.

Press the button
z Exposure is fixed.

Use the control dial to change shutter
speed and aperture valve combinations.

Recompose the image and shoot.
z The setting will cancel after the shot is taken.
