2-Port 10 Gigabit Ethernet Modular Port Adapter
The 2-Port 10 Gigabit Ethernet modular port adapter provides two cages for XFP Ethernet optical interface
modules that operate at a rate of 10 Gbps. The two XFP modules can be 10-Gigabit Ethernet multimode or
single mode connections.
Each XFP cage on the 2-Port 10 Gigabit Ethernet modular port adapter has an adjacent Link LED visible on
the front panel. The Link LED indicates the status of the associated XFP port, as described in Status LEDs,
on page 99 section.
