Enters the WLAN configuration submode. The profile-name
is the profile name of the configured WLAN.
wlan profile-name
Example:
Switch# wlan test4

Enables WPA.security wpa
Example:
Switch(config-wlan)# security wpa

Enables WPA1.security wpa wpa1
Example:
Switch(config-wlan)# security wpa wpa1
Step 4
Specifies the WPA1 cipher. Choose one of the following
encryption types:
security wpa wpa1 ciphers [aes | tkip]
Example:
Switch(config-wlan)# security wpa wpa1 ciphers
aes

• aes—Specifies WPA/AES support.
• tkip—Specifies WPA/TKIP support.
Enables WPA 2.security wpa wpa2
Example:
Switch(config-wlan)# security wpa
Step 6
Configure WPA2 cipher. Choose one of the following
encryption types:
security wpa wpa2 ciphers [aes | tkip]
Example:
Switch(config-wlan)# security wpa wpa2 ciphers
tkip
Step 7
• aes—Specifies WPA/AES support.
• tkip—Specifies WPA/TKIP support.
Returns to privileged EXEC mode. Alternatively, you can
also press Ctrl-Z to exit global configuration mode.
