Steps
1. Using the alignment posts, place the power-button with optional fingerprint reader into its slot on the palm-rest and
keyboard assembly.
2. Replace the screw (M2x3) that secures the power-button with optional fingerprint reader to the palm-rest and keyboard
assembly.
Next steps
1. Install the I/O board.
2. Install the base cover.
3. Exit Service Mode.
4. Follow the procedure in After working inside your computer.

2. Remove the base cover.
3. Remove the 3-cell battery or the 4-cell battery, whichever applicable.
4. Remove the M.2 2230 solid-state drive.
