Removing smart card reader board

Steps

1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.

2. Remove the:

a. base cover

b. battery

c. WLAN card

d. WWAN card (optional)

e. hard drive assembly(optional)

f. SSD card

g. chassis frame

3. To remove the smart card reader board:

a. Remove the screws that secure the smart card reader board to the palmrest [1].

b. Slide and remove the smart card reader from the slot [2].
