Log Out
To log out when remote security mode is enabled:
1.
Select the Padlock icon in the bottom right corner of the user interface.
2. Select Log out.

ADVANCED SECURITY
The advanced security pack adds advanced security mode to the controller's user interface. It is
a standard option on the Gx350i and Gx-OEM controllers. It can be added to Gx150i controllers
by entering a valid configuration code, see Configuration Code Activation on page 105.
Advanced security mode allows users who are part of the Administrator group to:
•
Create, edit and delete users.
•
Create edit and delete user groups.
•
Set and reset passwords.
•
Customise password policy.
• Customise user group access rights.
Enable Advanced Security Mode
When advanced security mode is active, only users with a valid user name and password will be
able to operate the printer through the user interface.
Note You will be immediately logged out of the printer when the security mode is
enabled. Before enabling advanced security mode, ensure you have a valid
password to log into the controller, see Log Insee Log In on page 124, Log In
on page 127.
To enable the advanced security mode:
1. Log into the controller as an Administrator level user.
2. Select Home > Setup > Security.
3. Change Security mode to Advanced.

Log In
To log in:
1.
Select the Padlock icon in the bottom right corner of the user interface.
2.
Select Log in.
3.
Select a Username and enter the correct Password. The default passwords are defined in
the table below:

Passwords are case sensitive.
