Section 8: Save and Restore Settings
Save and Restore Settings enables the device to store the settings of
certain parameters of QuickPanel
+
to a file (the extension assigned to this
file type is .qps) and then apply/restore the saved settings to the same
QuickPanel
+
or any other QuickPanel
+
from the saved .qps file, whenever
required.
8.1 Menu Item Location
The menu item for launching the feature is present in the System menu.

The Save and Restore Settings feature box has two associated tabs:
1. Settings
2. Registry
Settings Tab – This tab has the different names of different settings that
the user can select to save the settings value to the file.
Note:
• The settings tab of the Save and Restore Settings dialog is not used for setting the values for any
device parameters. It is only used to make the selection of the parameter settings, that the user
wants wishes to a file.
• The feature supports saving and restoring static IP addresses.
