If you inhale toner particles, move to a fresh air location and rinse your mouth with water.
If you swallow toner, spit it out, rinse your mouth with water, drink plenty of water and
consult a physician immediately.
• Do not reuse toner cartridges that have been removed from the printer. Doing so may
cause degradation of print quality, or the toner may spill onto print jobs.
• Do not shake or pat the removed toner cartridges after you remove it. The remaining toner
may spill out.
• Although the toner is not harmful to the body, wash it off immediately if your hands or
clothes are stained with it.
Replacing the Toner Cartridges
Replace the toner cartridge according to the following procedure:
1. Open the side cover
2. Slide the orange knob of the toner cartridge
to be replaced backward until it stops.
3. Remove the toner cartridge from the
cartridge holder. Gently set the used toner
cartridge on the paper that you laid on the
floor in advance.
4. Remove the new toner cartridge of the
color to be replaced from the box. Shake
the new toner cartridge gently five or six
times as shown in the illustration to mix the
toner in the cartridge.
