Intercom
An intercom call is a call to another handset registered to the same base unit. This
function can only be used when multiple handsets are registered to the same base
unit. You can also use this feature to locate a misplaced handset.
The phone supports up to 4 registered handsets. The default names are Handset 1,
Handset 2, Handset 3, and Handset 4.
To make an intercom call:
Handset 1
1. Press when the handset is in idle mode. The available handsets are displayed.
2. Press
/ to select the desired handset, and then press the Call softkey.
Handset 2
3. Press
flash
or to answer the intercom call.
Handset 1
4. To end the intercom call, press or place the cordless handset in the charger.
NOTES:
1. The intercom call can be cancelled before it is answered by pressing
on the originating handset.
2. If the called handset does not answer within 60 seconds, the intercom call will be cancelled.
Answering an external call during an intercom call
You will hear an alert tone when you receive an external call during an intercom call.
The external call can be a landline or Skype call.
1. Press
to end the intercom call.
2. Press
flash
to accept the external call.
