1 Overview
The Interchange Media option provides a compact disk recording (CD-R) drive, installed inside the Control
Station (see illustrations below).

The Interchange Media option allows you to save and restore Senographe DS image data using standard or
mini recordable compact disks (DICOM data format). Images saved in this way may, for example, be passed
to another radiologist for a second opinion.
CAUTION
The Interchange Media option is NOT recommended for permanent archiving. GE does not
guarantee the suitability of the media for such purposes.
