5.2 Site requirements
Introduction
This section describes the requirements for space and supplies in the building where
XDM or XDUO mixers will be installed.
Space and floor
For space and floor requirements, see the dimensions and weights of XDM mixer or
XDUO mixer in the General Specification (GS) in the Product Documentation package
(ToP) for the instrument.
NOTICE
At least 1 m free working space is needed around each instrument
during installation.
NOTICE
In order to allow convenient working conditions during the use,
sufficient space should be provided on all sides of the instrument,
when installed at the intended production location.
Environmental conditions
The following general requirements must be fulfilled:

The room must have exhaust ventilation.
•
The instrument should not be exposed to corrosive gases.
•
The instrument should not be exposed to sources of heat, such as direct sunlight.
•
Dust in the atmosphere should be kept to a minimum.
•
Strong magnetic or electric fields should be avoided.
•
The instrument should not be exposed to vibrations.
