TCU water quality specifications
Tap water can be used to prepare the coolant, when the coolant temperature (mixer
jacket temperature) is designated to be between 6°C and 65°C (the temperature of the
disposable bag contents is between 10°C and 60°C ). The water quality must be within
the guidelines shown below. Deionized water is not suitable.

TCU coolant composition
The use of corrosion inhibitor in the coolant is optional. If the vessel jacket temperature
is expected to be below +6°C, antifreeze needs to be added to TCU coolant.
The table below shows an example coolant composition (containing corrosion inhibitor)
that allows the vessel jacket temperature to decrease to -15°C without freezing.
