7.3.5 Control the temperature
Introduction
The temperature of the disposable bag contents is controlled using the temperature
control unit (TCU).
The temperature control can be set to work in Auto or in Manual mode.
•
In Auto mode, the PLC defines a CV value (%) and sends it to the TCU.
•
In Manual mode, the PLC sends the manually defined CV value (%) to the TCU.
In both modes, the TCU calculates a fixed setpoint (SP), using the configured range that
is specific for the TCU model.
Work in Auto mode
To set the temperature control to work in Auto mode follow the instructions below.
