6.4.4 Insert probes into the disposable bag
Prepare probe sheath assembly
All types of analytical probes are installed using the same procedure.
The probe sheath assembly should be autoclaved before installation. See Section 6.4.3
Autoclave probe sheath assembly, on page 165 for instructions.
The instructions below involve handling of ratchet clamps. Carefully read through the
notice below before starting to insert the probe sheath assembly into the disposable
bag.
NOTICE
•
Ratchet clamps may break if they are overtightened.
•
A ratchet clamp can be released from its tightened state by
sliding the interlocked clamp fingers sideways with respect to
each other.

If ratchet clamp fingers cannot be released, the ratchet clamp
has to be cut open. Side cutters or pliers (similar to the ones
used to remove a cable tie) can be used for the purpose.
Follow the instructions below to prepare for installation of the probe sheath assembly
into the disposable bag.
