9 Troubleshooting

This chapter gives information to help users and service personnel to identify and correct
problems that may occur when operating the product.
If the suggested actions in this guide do not solve the problem, or if the problem is not
covered by this guide, contact your GE representative for advice.
Depending on the selected configuration of the system, some components
listed in this chapter may not be applicable for each mixer.

Agitation, Xcellerex XDM mixer

Acknowledge the agitator fault
and attempt to restart the mo-
tor. If the error persists, contact
GE for service.
The motor is overloaded.Variable frequency drive (VFD) is
not functioning as expected.
Connect the power cable.Power cable is not connected.
Contact your GE representative
to replace the drive.
The drive is broken.
Refer to the VFD manufacturer's
manual for error code clarifica-
tion. If the problem cannot be
solved on site, contact your GE
representative for help.
Software or mechanical fault in
the VFD.
An error code is shown on the
VFD display.
Turn the power switch to I ON
position.
The power switch on the I/O
Cabinet is in O OFF position.
The agitator motor cannot be
started.
Connect the power cable.Power cable is not connected.
Contact your GE representative
to replace the drive.
The drive is broken.
