  Your Generac Power Systems Portable Generator might not start or could be running roughly due to several reasons: * The fuel shut-off may be OFF - turn it ON. * The air filter could be dirty - clean or replace it. * There might be no gasoline - fill the fuel tank. * The gasoline could be stale - drain the tank and refill with fresh fuel. * The spark plug wire may not be connected - connect it. * The spark plug might be bad - replace it. * There could be water in the gasoline - drain the tank and refill with fresh fuel. * The engine may be over-choking - put the choke knob to the No Choke position. * The oil level could be low - fill the crankcase to the proper level.
