Power Windows
{
Warning
Before operating the power
windows, check they are free of
obstructions and that passengers
and pets are not in the proximity
of the moving window.
The power windows can be
operated when the ignition is on.
Operation
Push and hold or pull and hold the
required button to raise or lower a
window.
The window stops moving as soon
as the button is released.
Auto up/down
The vehicle may have an auto up/
down function.
To fully open the driver’s door
window automatically, press the
switch fully down. To fully close the
window automatically, pull the
switch fully up. In automatic
operation, the window will fully open
or close even if you let go of the
switch.
To stop the window at the desired
position while the window is in
operation, pull up or press down
and release the switch to the
opposite direction of the movement.
Safety function
If the window glass encounters
resistance above the halfway point
of the operating range during
automatic closing, it is immediately
stopped and opened again.
Overload
If the windows are repeatedly
operated at short intervals, window
operation may be disabled for
some time.
Initialising the power windows
If the windows cannot be closed
automatically (e.g. after
disconnecting the vehicle battery),
activate the window electronics as
follows:
1. Close doors.
2. Switch on ignition.
3. Close the window completely
and keep the switch pulled for
an additional 2 seconds.
