Adjusting the Brakelight Switch
Adjusting the Brakelight Switch
Check the operation of the brakelight
switch. Turn the adjusting nut in the
direction A if the switch operates too late,
or turn the nut in the direction B if the
switch operates too soon.

Adjusting the Idle Speed
The engine must be at normal operating
temperature for accurate idle speed
adjustment. 10 minutes of stop-and-go
riding is sufficient.
1. Warm up the engine, shift to neutral and
place your motorcycle on the side stand
on a level surface.
2. Adjust idle speed with the throttle stop
screw.
Idle speed (In neutral):
1,200 ± 100 rpm
Throttle stop screw
