ZPWY-MAP-DEF-TCP
If you do not assign a value to this field, the default is 8000 bytes.
ZMAXTERMS
is the maximum number of TERM objects that the TCP can have open at the same
time. Valid values range from 0 through 4095.
The TCP opens its TERM objects with a syncdepth of 1.
ZNONSTOP
specifies whether the TCP runs with a backup process and performs normal
checkpoint operations. ZNONSTOP can have the following values:
If you do not assign a value to this field, the default is ZPWY-VAL-NONSTOP1.
In a single-processor environment, using the default causes an error. You can
ignore the error or assign the value ZPWY-VAL-NONSTOP0 to this field.
ZPRIORITY
is the priority at which the TCP runs. Valid values range from 1 through 199.
If you do not assign a value to this field, the default is a priority of 20 less than the
priority of the PATHMON process.
ZPROCESS
is the process name of the TCP. The name consists of a dollar sign ($) followed by
one to four alphanumeric characters. The first character must be a letter.
If you do not assign a value to this field, the default is a process name that the
operating system assigns, in the form $Xxxx, $Yxxx, or $Zxxx.
ZPROGRAM
is the name of the TCP object file (usually $SYSTEM.SYSTEM.PATHTCP2).
You can specify either a specific node name or \*, a generic name representing the
node on which the PATHMON process is currently running. If you do not specify a
node name, the default node for file-name expansion can be affected by the value
you specify for the ZNODEINDEPENDENT field of the TS/MP START PATHWAY
command. For more information on node independence, see the Pathway/iTS
System Management Manual.
ZSERVERPOOL
is the number of bytes that the TCP allocates for I/O requests and replies between
the SCREEN COBOL programs and server processes. Space is also allocated for
receiving and sending unsolicited messages. The value for this parameter is the
ZPWY-VAL-NONSTOP0 Directs the TCP to run without a backup process.
ZPWY-VAL-NONSTOP1 Directs the TCP to run with a backup process.
