4.3 AR3260 Fan Module
The fan module of the AR3260 is 3 U high. It is pluggable and uses front-access design.
Functions
The fan module is located on the right side of the AR3260 chassis for heat dissipation and
ventilation. If a single fan failed, the heat dissipation for the AR3260 will be affected. When this
occurs, replace the entire fan frame immediately.
Structure
The fan module of the AR3260 consists of a fan tray, three 12 V fans with dimensions 120 mm
(width) x 25 mm (depth), and a fan control board (FCB).
Panel
Figure 4-6 shows the panel of the fan module.
