As soon as the failed I/O group is back, the system can automatically resynchronize both
copies in the background. Before the resynchronization, the Storwize V5000 can perform a
FlashCopy on HyperSwap source and target volumes, as shown in Figure 10-163. Each
change volume requires two FlashCopy relationships, one relationship in each direction. So,
four FlashCopy relationships are required for each HyperSwap volume.
To provide an easy to use GUI, those relationships and FlashCopy volumes are not shown in
the GUI. They are only visible and manageable by using the CLI.
