10-13. Draining

Thread waste may be sewn in the
seam. To prevent this, remove
thread waste and dust from the
throat plate and the thread guide if
accumulated.
When thread waste has accumulated in the dust tray,
open front cover ❶, draw dust tray ❷ and remove the
accumulated thread waste.
After the removal of thread waste, set dust tray ❷ in
its home position and close the front cover.
When oil has accumulated in poly oiler ❶ installed
under the bottom cover, remove poly oiler ❶ to dis-
card the oil.
WARNING :
Turn OFF the power before starting the work so as to prevent accidents caused by abrupt start
of the sewing machine.
