Mode
A
room
has
its
own
pattern
of
reflections
and
reverbrations
determined
by
its
size,
the
height
of
the
ceiling,
construction
and
other
factors.
In
the
DAP
mode,
sound
from
the
speakers
reflects
from
the
walls
and
ceiling,
enveloping
you
with
spatial
sounds
from
random
directions.
With
five
DAP
modes
the
sound
field
can
be
enlarged
to
give
a
more
realistic
atmosphere
without
adding
rear
speakers.

CD
DSP
DSEP
(Digital
Special
Effects
Processor)
Mode
With
five
DSEP
modes
a
powerful
sound
can
be
reproduced.
The
Remote
is
very
useful
for
making
this
setting.
1.
Set
the
TUNER/CD/DSP
selector
to
the
DSP
position.
2.
Press
the
DAP
button
to
select
the
mode.
Each
time
you
press
the
DAP
button,
the
mode
changes
as
follws.
D.
CLUB
gives
a
throbbing
bass
beat.
LIVE
gives
the
feeling
of
a
live
stage.
DOME
gives
the
spacious
feeling
of
a
domed
stadium.
HALL
gives
clear
vocals
and
the
feeling
of
a
recital
hall.
CHURCH
reproduces
the
echo
effect
of
a
stone-walled
church.
(When
you
use
the
main
unit,
just
press
the
desired
DAP
mode
button
directly.)
To
change
the
depth
of
effects
Press
the
-DSP
LEVEL+
button
on
the
Remote.
You
can
change
the
depth
level
every
1dB
between
—6dB
and
+6dB.
OdB
is
the
normal
level.
+:
the
level
is
increased.
—:
the
level
is
decreased.
When
you
use
the
rear
speakers
Press
the
4CH/SEP.C
button.
The
LED
next
to
it
lights
up.
Although
you
can
reproduce
the
sound
with
a
DAP
or
DSEP
effect
by
using
only
the
front
speakers,
adding
the
optional
rear
speakers
will
enhance
the
effect.
(In
this
case,
the
panoramic
shifting
speakers
turn
off.)

panoramic
shifting
speakers
inside
the
cabinet
shift
to
face
directly
forward
in
alignment
with
the
full-range
speakers
directly
below.
The
mode
can
be
set
either
on
the
Unit
or
from
the
Remote.
