Using
the
Timers
The
timers
let
you
control
recording
and
playing
functions
automatically.

radio

You
can
set
the
starting
time
and
eouiding
duration.
Wake
up
Timer/Sleep
Timer—Wake
up
to
music
from
any
source.
Fall
asleep
and
have your
CA-MXG9BK
tum
off
automatically
after
a
certain
length
of
time.
ONCE
Timer/DAILY
Timer—Y
ou
can
program
the
Unit
to
come
on
playing
a
source
at
a
particular
time,
and
then
shut
off
at
a
special
time.

The
timers
depend
on
the
clock:
If
the
clock
is
right,
the
timers
will
work
like
you
expect,
but
if
the
time
is
incorrect
on
the
clock
then
the
timers
will
also
be
incorrect.
Special
Notice:
The
clock
must
be
set,
or
the
timers
cannot
be
set!
So,
let’s
set
the
clock
first.
Press
the
CLOCK
ADJ.
button.
Set the
hour
by
pressing
the
TUNING/TIMER/DIMMER<
or
>
button.
Each
time
you
press
it,
the
hour
advances
by
one.
Hold
the
button
down,
and
the
clock
will
advance
one
hour
at a
time
as
long
as
the
TUNING/TIMER/DIMMER<
or
>
button
is
held
down.
Press
the
MEMORY
button,
when
the
correct
hour
is
showing
on
the
display.
The
hour
is
set.
Set
the
minutes
by
pressing
the
TUNING/TIMER/DIMMER<
or
>
button.
Each
time
you
press
it
the
minutes
advance
by
one.
Hold
the
button
down,
and
the
minutes
advance
in
10
minute
increments
.
Press
the
MEMORY
button.
The
minute
is
set.
Press
the
CLOCK
ADJ.
button
again
and
the
clock
is
set
and
starts
from
zero
second.
If
the
clock
has
not
been
set
or
if
there
has
been
a
power
outrage,
"0:00"
will
be
displayed
and
"CLOCK"
will
blink.
If
there
is
a
power
failure,
the
clock
looses
its
setting,
the
display
shows
"0:00,"
and
it
must
be
reset.
You
can
set
the
clock
and
the
Timers
whenever
the
CA-
MXG9BK
is
turned
off,
but
still
connected
to
a
live
power
source.
