9.4 PTC-Auswertelektronik
Motorschutzschalter bzw. Motorschutzrelais bieten bei Umrichter-
betrieb nur bedingten Schutz und können im Einzelfall Fehlaus-
lösungen hervorrufen. Einen umfassenden Schutz gegen Überbe-
anspruchung eines Motors im Umrichterbetrieb bietet ein Thermistor-
Motorschutz.
Für die Rack-Versionen Größe 05…14 ist als Option eine PTC-
Auswertelektronik erhältlich, welche im Gehäuse des Umrichters
installiert wird.
Der Einbau erfolgt ausschließlich im Werk!

Die Klemmen OH/OH können auch mit einem
Thermokontakt (Kontaktart/Öffner) belegt werden.
Erreicht der Widerstandswert des PTC-Fühlers den Fehleraus-
lösebereich oder öffnet der Thermokontakt, schaltet der Frequenz-
umrichter den Ausgang UVW nach einer im Parameter P.21
einstellbaren Zeit mit der Fehlermeldung E.OH ab.
Kühlt sich der Motor soweit ab, daß der Widerstandswert des PTC-
Fühlers - 500 ý ist oder der Thermokontakt wieder schließt, kann
der Fehler durch Betätigen des Resets oder Power-on-Reset
zurückgesetzt werden.
9.4 PTC Evaluating Electronic
Motor protective switch or motor protective relay provide only
limited protection for inverter operation and in individual cases they
can cause error trippings. An extensive protection against
overloading the motor during inverter operation offers a thermistor
motor protection.
For the units sizes 05 to 14 of the rack version an optional PTC
evaluating electronic is available, which is installed in the unit.
Installation is performed exclusively in the factory!

Cold resistance (ϑ = 25 °C / U - 2,5 V) - 100 ý
max. cold resistance of PTC detector chain 400 ý

The terminals OH/OH can also be occupied with thermo
contacts (type of contact/break contact).
If the resistance value of the PTC detector reaches the error tripping
range or if the thermo contact breaks contact then the frequency
inverter disconnects the output UVW with error message E.OH
after the time adjustable in parameter P.21 has elapsed.
If the motor has cooled off so much that the resistance value of the
PTC detector is - 500 ý or the thermo contact closes again, the
error can be set back by pressing reset or with power-on reset.
