HINTS FOR AIR CONDITIONER USE
1. The air conditioning system uses the
new refrigerant HFC-134a. Therefore,
if you put old refrigerant CFC-12 by
mistake, it will cause the fault similar
to the compressor leakage. So make
sure that you are using the correct
refrigerant before refilling the refri-
gerant.
2. If some moisture enters the inside of
the air conditioning circuit, it can
cause a failure of the air conditioner
and damage to the parts of the comp-
ressor.
3. If the amount of the oil in the air condi-
tioning circuit is not correct, it will
cause the following troubles:
Oil shortage - lubricating function is
not enough. Leakage of the compre-
ssor.
Excessive engine oil - bad cooling.
Therefore, compressor oil should always
be changed or refilled with prescribed
amount as the refrigerant.
In case that the refrigerant or oil is
leaking from the system.
In case that the refrigerant is sud-
denly released from the system.
In case that the system parts are
changed.
As you work in the cabin for a long
time with the air conditioner turned
on, the air in the cabin becomes foul.
So you should let fresh air in perio-
dically.
