WARNING!Increased risk of injury! Make sure that there is no one between tractor and
machine while mounting (especially while the tractor is driving forwards).
Lower the front lifting device hydraulically until the coupling triangle of the tractor is under
the holder (1) of the machine.
Drive forwards with the tractor to the holder (1) of the machine.
Slowly raise the front lifting device hydraulically until the machine is raised somewhat.
Shut down and safeguard the machine, refer to page24.
Use the setting screw (7) to set the distance from ratchet (4) to latch (5) to 1 mm.
Secure the coupling triangle of the tractor (2) by using spring cotter pin (6).
Check clearance
NOTICE
Damage to the machine because the clearance is too small
If the clearance between the front wheels of the tractor and the machine is too low, the
machine may be damaged during use.
Check the clearance between the front wheels of the tractor and the machine after placing
the machine in service the first time and whenever changing the tractor wheels.
Check the clearance of the front wheels at all steering angles. If the guards or swath flaps
come into contact with the front wheels of the tractor, mount the lower link extensions
between the lower links and the coupling triangle, refer to page39.
