12.2 Possible causes and remedies
This chapter contains all PROFIBUS error messages in numerical order of the error number.
Possible causes and remedies as well as responses to the error messages are described in
detail.

Cause Remedy
• Network cable (plug) is defective.
• Network cable is not connected to PROFIBUS
connection.
• Voltage supply is interrupted.
• Check cables and terminals.
• Connect network cable to PROFIBUS connection.
