tion lock.
E Press in cigarette lighter 1.
The cigarette lighter will pop out auto-
matically when the heating element is
red-hot.
Stowage spaces and stowage com-
partments

Risk of injury
You should only load the stowage spaces in
such a way that the occupants cannot be in-
jured by objects being thrown around the
passenger compartment in the event of an
accident, braking or sudden change in direc-
tion.
Therefore, do not carry heavy, bulky,
pointed or sharp-edged objects in the stow-
age spaces or stowage compartments.

Risk of injury
The stowage compartments must be closed
when items are stored in them. Luggage
nets are not designed to secure heavy items
of luggage.
You or other vehicle occupants could be in-
jured by objects being thrown around if you:

brake sharply
I
change direction suddenly
I
have an accident
Sharp-edged and fragile objects must not
be carried in the luggage net.
Steering wheel stowage compartment
1 Stowage space
! Do not leave any items in the stowage
compartment under the steering wheel when
lowering the steering column .
The items could otherwise be damaged, since
this operation changes the size of the stowage
compartment.

Dashboard stowage compartment

Always keep the stowage compartment on
the dashboard closed while you are driving.
