4.9 Starting up I/O extension modules
4.9.1 Combinations of extension modules
Several corresponding output modules at different stations can be assigned to one digital
or analog input module. The inputs are transmitted in parallel to all the outputs. The chan-
nels of the input module are mirrored to the channels of the output module.

The combined RAD-DAIO6-IFS extension modules can only be assigned in pairs, because
each module has inputs and outputs. That is why only two modules in the network may have
the same I/O MAP address.

It is not possible to separately assign the individual input channels of an extension
module to different output modules.
