Handlebar
Removal
Remove the handlebar cover before carrying out
this operation,.
- After removing the transmissions and discon-
necting the electrical terminals, remove the termi-
nal fixing the handlebar to the steering.
- Check all components and replace faulty parts.
N.B.
IF THE HANDLEBAR IS BEING REMOVED TO
REMOVE THE STEERING, TILT THE HANDLE-
BAR FORWARD TO AVOIDING DAMAGING
THE TRANSMISSIONS.
Refitting
Carry out the operations in the reverse order to the
removal, observing the prescribed tightening tor-
que.
Locking torques (N*m)
Handlebar fixing screw 50 ÷ 55
Front fork
Overhaul
Replacement of seal ring rod disassembly
- Remove the wheel axle.
- Remove the lower screw (1).
- Discharge the oil in the suspension.
- Remove the stem.
- Replace the sealing rings (3-4) with new ones.
- Insert the new sealing rings only after lubricating
their seatings.
- Refit the stem and the lower screw (1).
