REAR BUMPER
1. Disconnect the harness connectors at the tail lights.
2. Remove the ten T-27 Torx screws retaining the rear
bumper to the rear bumper support and rear cargo
box.
3. Remove the rear bumper from the vehicle.
HOOD AND FRONT BODY WORK
Hood Removal
1. To remove the hood, turn both latches to disengage
the rear portion of the hood.
2. Tilt the hood back to disengage the front tabs and
remove the hood from the vehicle.
Front Body / Dash Removal
3. Remove the hood as previously described.
4. Remove the front bumper (see Chapter 10 – BODY
COMPONENT REMOVAL - Front Bumper, page
10.14).
5. Remove the front portion of the cab frame assembly
to allow dash removal. Refer to CAB FRAME -
Assembly / Removal, page 10.3 procedure for
assembly torque specifications.
6. Remove the push rivets that attach the dash
assembly to the rocker panels on each side.
7. Remove the two Torx screws and two push rivets
that retain the front and rear portions of the dash
assembly.
