7. Remove two large hoses

and vent line

from the
radiator.
8. Cut zip ties retaining vent line to the fan shroud.
9. Remove two fasteners
t
retaining the fan assembly
to the vehicle.
10.Disconnect the electrical connector to the fan.
11. Pull upward on the fan to disconnect the assembly
from its lower mounting grommets. Remove fan and
radiator as an assembly.
12.Remove cooling fan from radiator.
INSTALLATION
1. Install the fan and radiator as an assembly.
2. Connect fan harness.
3. Install two fasteners retaining fan assembly. Torque
fasteners to specification.
TORQUE
Fan Assembly Mounting Fasteners:
9 ft-lbs (12 Nm)
4. Connect the two coolant hoses and one vent line
going to the radiator.
5. Install the charge air radiator into the chassis.
6. Install the two large hoses going to the charge air
radiator and the small vent hose.
7. Install the radiator shroud and install six push pins.
8. Install voltage regulator bracket and voltage
regulators as an assembly. Install two fasteners and
torque to specification.
TORQUE
Voltage Regulator Bracket Fasteners:
7 ft-lbs (10 Nm)
9. Connect four voltage regulator harness connectors
(two per voltage regulator).
10.Install front fascia.
TORQUE
Front Fascia Fasteners:
7 ft-lbs (10 Nm)
11. Fill the cooling system. Properly bleed both the
engine cooling system as well as the charge air
cooling system. See Cooling System Bleeding page
2.38.
