Regular maintenance
Recommended maintenance/inspection intervals
Following initial commissioning, the equipment/system must be inspected at least once per
year.
In addition, an inspection should be carried out after 1000 cycles at rated operational current.
If the molded case circuit breaker or molded case switch (MCS) is operated in a dusty
environment or an environment with corrosive vapors, gases or salt spray, it is
recommended that the inspection intervals be adjusted, e.g. to twice per year.
