Adjusting the thread tension
If the upper looper thread is visible on the reverse of the material, then
– set the dial for the upper looper thread tension (orange) to a higher
value or
– set the dial for the lower looper thread tension (yellow) to a lower
value.
If the lower looper thread is visible on the face side of the material, then
– set the dial for the lower looper thread tension (yellow) to a higher
value or
– set the dial for the upper looper thread tension (orange) to a lower
value.
If the upper thread is too loose, set the dial for the upper looper thread
tension (green or blue) to a higher value.

3) Thickness, type and material composition of the thread

Correct adjustment
Set the adjustment wheels for the thread tensions to the following values
and sew a sample seam on the material you will be sewing.

Adjusting the thread tension
If the lower looper thread is too loose, then
– set the dial for the lower looper thread tension (yellow) to a higher
value or
– set the dial for the upper thread tension (blue or green) to a lower
value.
If the upper looper thread is too loosen, then
– set the dial for the upper thread tension (orange) to a higher value or
– set the dial for the upper thread tension (blue or green) to a lower
value.
If the upper thread is too loose, then
– set the dial for the upper thread tension (blue or green) to a higher
value or
– set the dial for the upper thread tension (orange) to a lower value.
