How to correct operating troubles
The Error report
The error messages displayed on the screen after the
self-test or during operation are collected and can be read
in the Error report.
Use the navigator to move to the item Diagnosis in the Main menu
and activate the latter. The menu illustrated appears.
Move to item Error report and activate the latter. All error mes-
sages that have occurred since switching on ther X-ray unit will
appear. Use the navigator to leaf through the messages.

The X-ray unit cannot be switched on or switches off by itself
Cause Correction
The main switch* is switched off. Switch on the main switch (F 1-13).
Mains plug or mains cable is not plugged in. Plug in mains cable.
Mains supply of the building, the baggage handling
system or the vehicle has failed.
Restore mains supply or have it restored.
An emergency stop button has engaged. Reset all emergency stop buttons as described in
the following paragraph (see below).
The connector of the keyboard has been unplugged. Check the keyboard plug connection as far as it is
accessible.
The UPS unit of the power fail buffer* is switched off. Switch on the UPS unit if it is accessible (F 1-31 -
"How to switch on").
One of the conveyor motors is overheated.

Attention!
If the X-ray unit continuously switches off, it
should not be operated until it has been re-
paired in order to avoid motor damages! 1150
Let the X-ray unit cool down for about 30 minutes
and switch it on again then. If very heavy baggage
or freight items are checked, larger distances
between the baggage items should be kept.
The temperature measured by means of the integ-
rated temperature sensor* is below 0°C or above
40°C.
See to a higher or lower ambient temperature to
be established.
