Adjustingthe
exposure
The exposure is adjusted automatically in the
del_ult setting.
When your subject has its back to the sun or
other light, you can adjust the exposure to
prevent the subject from becoming
shadowed.
BACK LIGHT
Press BACK LIGHT when the POWER
switch is set to the CAMERA mode.
[] appears.
To cancel the back light function, press BACK
LIGHT again.
O Note
The back light function is canceled when you sel
[EXPOSURE] to [MANUAL] (p. 281 or select
[SPOT METER] (p. 261.
You can adjust and fix the exposure to the
subject, so that it is recorded in suitable
brightness even when there is strong contrast
between the subject and the background
(such as subjects in the limelight on stage).
1 Slide the POWER switch to select the
CAMERA mode.
Touch _ to display [PAGE1].
Touch [SPOT METER I.

4 Touch the point you want to adjust and
fix the exposure on the screen.
[SPO'I ME'I ER] flashes while the camera
is adjusting the exposure lbr the selecled
point.
Touch [_.
