The Active httefface Shoe suppliespower

light, a flash, or a microphone. Tile
accessory can be turned on or off as you
operate the POWER switch oil your
camcorder. Refer also to the instructiott
manual supplied with your accessory for
details.
• Tile Active Interlace Shoe has a sail:ty device

connect an accessory, press down and push it
to the end, and then tighten the screw. To
remove an accessoly, loosen tile screw, and
then prcss down and pull ()tit die accessoly,
• When you are recording wilh lhe external
flash (oplkmal), turn off the power of tile
exlernal flash to prevenl chalging noise being
recorded.
• You cannot use an external flash (oplional)
and tile built-in flash at lhe sanlc time.
• When an external micl*)l)hone (optional) is
connected, il lakes precedence over file
internal microphone (p.35).
