3. BASIC SPECIFICATIONS
3.1. Print Specifications
(1) Printing Method: Direct Line Thermal Printing Method
(2) Dot Configuration: 640 Dots/Line
(3) Dot Density: 8 dots/mm (203 dpi)
(4) Printing Region: Max. 80 mm (See Fig. 3.1.4)
Notes:
1) This printer supports 45 to 82.5 mm paper widths.
2) Also, the standard position of printing to the paper width is center of the paper width.
3) The recommended value for print margins for the print regions is more the 4 mm on
one side and more than a total of 8 mm.
4) The printer layout should have adequate left and right margins with regard to the paper
width.
5) If using a head with a maximum print width of 80 mm, it is not possible to provide an
adequate print margin left and right, so it is possible that the print region will be off the
edges of the paper.
6) Before use, check the actual layout and the media that will be used to verify that they
will work.
(5) Printing Column Count: See table below.
The maximum print positions that can be printed on a maximum print width of 74 mm are shown in
the table below when 4 mm on each side is ensured for a total print margin of 8 mm on the left and
right sides on a maximum paper width 82.5 mm.
