REASSEMBLY
• Inslall
each valve spri ng seat.
• Apply molybdenum oil solulion 10 each oil seal and press-fil
Ihem into position.
l it. CAUTION I
I Do not reuse the oil seals.
• Arrly mn l ybdenlJm oil solution to the valve as shown, and
th en insert them into the va l ve guides.
l it. CAUTION
When inserting each valve into the valve guides, make
sure
not to damage the lip of the oil seal.
• Install
the valve spring with the smaller pitch ® facing the
cylinder head.

• Inst;lll thp v~lvp c:.pring retainer by prQssing down the spring
using the valve lifter. Fit the cotter halves to the stem end and
release the lifter to allow the cotter CD to wedge between the
ret ainer and the va lve stem . Make sure that the rounded lip ®
of the cotter fits sn ugly into the groove @ in the stem end.
