BRAKE
PAD
REPLACEMENT
Remove the brake pad mounting pin.
Remove the brake pads.

CAUTIO

* Do
not
operate
the
brake pedal
during
or
after brake
pad
removal.
* Replace
the
brake
pads
as a set,
otherwise
braking
performance
will
be adversely affected.
Install the new brake pads.
A
WARNING
Make
sure
that
the
brake pad
is
properly
engaged
with
the
guide
plate as
shown
in
the
photograph
.
Tighten
the
brake
pad
mounting
pin
to
the
specified
torque
.
(!]Srake
pad
mounting
pin: 18 N·m (1.8 kgf-m, 13.0 Ib-ft)
NOTe-
After replacing the brake pads, pump the brake pedal a few times
to
check for proper brake operation
and
then check the brake
fluid level.
