6-22 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
• Apply a small quantity of SUZUKI MOLY PASTE to the arma-
ture shaft.

• Align the match marks on the starter motor case with the match
marks on the housing end.
• Apply a small quantity of THREAD LOCK “1342” to the starter
motor housing bolts.

STARTER RELAY INSPECTION
• Remove the seat. (!5-2)
• Remove the document tray 1.
• Remove right frame cover. (!5-3)
• First, disconnect battery - lead wire 2.
• Then, disconnect the starter relay cover 3.
• Disconnect the starter motor lead wire 4, battery lead wire 5
and starter relay coupler 6 at the starter relay.
• Remove the starter relay.
