4. Push the Change Instrum ent Settings side bu tto n. The
oscilloscope displays the Instrument Setup screen.
5. Use the Instrument Setup screen menu items and controls to enter
the network settings information from section 1 of the form. ( See
page 187, The Instrument Setup Screen.)
6. When you are done entering the Ethernet network settings, push the
OK Accept side bu tton to store the settings in your oscilloscope.
7. If the form shows that DHCP or BOOTP are supported on your
network, push the DCHP/BOOTP side button to select On.
Entering the N etwork Printer Settings
To enter th e Ethernet printer settings information from section 2 of the
form into your oscilloscope, follow these steps:
1. Push the Utility front panel button.
2. Push the System bottom button to select I/O.
3. Push the Ethernet Printer Settings bottom button. The
oscilloscope displays the Pr inter Configu ration screen, which lists
all network printers loaded into the oscilloscope.
4. Push the Add Printer side button. The oscilloscope disp lays th e
Add Printer screen.
5. Use the Add Printer screen menu items and controls to enter the
networkprinterinformationfromsection2oftheform. (See
page 189, The A dd Printer Screen.)
NOTE. If you ha ve set the domain na me and DNS IP add ress in the E thernet
Network Settings menu, then all you need to enter is the network printer's
server name or th e printer's server IP address in the Ad d Printer screen.
The DN S server will look up the missing information.
