6.1.1 Using the Setup Option
The WAN Setup screen allows you to view information about the WAN interface.
To view WAN setup information:
1. Click WAN from the left side menu.
2. Click Setup under WAN.
Field descriptions are listed below the screen example.
Label Description
WAN
Internet IP Address Displays the IP address for the Internet interface.
Internet IP Subnet Mask Displays the IP subnet mask for the Internet interface.
IPv6 Address
Displays the current WAN public IPv6 address obtained from the service
provider.
IPv4 Address
Displays the current WAN public IPv4 address obtained from the service
provider.
MAC Address Displays the WAN interface’s hardware address.
Duration
Displays the accumulated time since successfully acquiring a WAN public IP
address.
Expires Displays the remaining time before the WAN IP address expires, if applicable.
DNS Override
Enable DNS Override to use specific host names and IP addresses instead of
using DNS (Domain Name Servers) to translate host names into IP addresses.
