To check function of panel indicationsl push lamp test
button (8). All indication lamps will be lit and the buz-
zer will sound.
Alarms
1. The audible alarm is silenced when you acknow-
ledge the alarm by pressing the ACKN button
(7). The lamp (1-2) on the panel indicates which
alarm it is (also check the diode in the shutdown
unit).
2. Rectify the fault.
3. Press the reset button (SHUTDOWN RESET)
on the engine-mounted electrical box. The diode
goes out if the fault has been rectifi ed, as does
the lamp (1-2) on the panel.
4. Start the engine.
Shutdown override
When activated, only overspeed and broken wire
shutdowns are active.
NOTE! Check the local classifi cation requirements to
determine when the shutdown override should beu-
sed.
Activate SHUTDOWN OVERRIDE by turning key
switch(5) clockwise. SHUTDOWN OVERRIDE is indi-
cated by Lamp (6) on the panel.
IMPORTANT! When SHUTDOWN OVERRIDE
is active the engine will not be protected by the
shutdowns system, this may cause engine da-
mage.
In case of emergency
In an emergency, if the shutdown unit has stopped
the engine, it is possible to run the engine despite the
activated shutdown.
1. Override the shutdown unit refer to section SHUT-
DOWN OVERRIDE.
2. Push the SHUTDOWN RESET-button on the engi-
ne-mounted electrical box.
3. Start the engine.
