Reading the instruments
Read all instruments and displays directly after start-
ing, and then regularly during your voyage.
Oil pressure
The oil pressure gauge should normally indicate be-
tween 3-5 bar. It will indicate a somewhat lower value
when idling.
If the oil pressure is too low, the audible warning will
sound automatically at the same time as the lamp in
the warning display will fl ash.
Coolant temperature
The temperature gauge should normally indicate be-
tween 75– 95°C (167-203°F) in normal operation.
If the coolant temperature is too high, the audible
warning will sound automatically at the same time as
the lamp in the warning display will fl ash.
Charging
During operation, system voltage should be within
normal values, not in any of the red fi elds.
If there is a charge failure the lamp in the warning
display will fl ash.
Alarm
If a fault occurs, the audible warning will sound and
the relevant warning lamp on the alarm panel will
start to fl ash and the display will show a alarm pop-
up.
1. Reduce engine speed to idling.
2. Acknowledged the larm by pressing the naviga-
ton wheel on the control panel once.
When the fault has been acknowledged, the lamp
concerned gives constant light and the audible warn-
ing will become silent.
Please refer to the “In case of emergency” chapter,
and you will fi nd detailed information about recom-
mended action in the “Diagnostic function” section.
The fault will also be stored in the form of a fault code
for as long as the malfunction remains. It is possible
to read the fault code during a subsequent service.
